today music is on some other shit, some real simple shit, so because a persion coming out to day has to have hits not a singal hit. but because the way things are now the people buy the songs ova the net, every song that is on a persions cd has to bang out or you wont get that money for it. not even if thay put out a cd cause the people are downloading there shit! if people download that one hit that you got out, then you dont get the doe. so people started makeing nothing but pop hits, so every song on the cd get $ for them. the end of that is the people get robbed, robbed of content. cause the content being used is pop! only a part of the masses lission to under ground or hardcore hip hop that means as long as people download other people shit the people lousing $ will find a way to make it back! this way is turing hip hop into popular music so more people can buy it to make up for the lose in $ from other people downloading it padron self

The more times change, the more they stay the same. People are so stuck on the fame they'll do anything to be in the spotlight. An you're right, it use to be, people go platinum because the music is good, now it's who's shaking their ass in the club to it, if these drunk irresponsible parents love it because it reminds them of being in the bar having fun forgetting their problems, they don't take heed that their children like it too because mama and daddy love it, so it's a hit, mainstream radio is playing it, it's getting downloaded requested, lots of artists are making club appearances, and money is being made off of touring now a days. I don't knock anyone's hustle, but if making money means exploiting my people or making someone else richer who's not doing anything for your own hood you throw up and fight about, then I can't do that type of thing. The music I mainly love is indie or unsigned.

Well.....to me music is music....whether you shake yo ass to it or not....I can feel and vibe with all different types of music, it's called DIVERSITY....and hey, if it don't make dollars then it don't make sense.....not to say that the real true underground rappers should SELL OUT to make good money.....IT IS WHAT IT IS.....money makes the world go around.....I listen to music for all types of reasons, the words, the beats, the way it soothes my soul and calms my nerves.....but on the real..... people should stop HATIN, just because you don't like the message or the method of delivery doesn't mean your a better or worse human being for liking it.....COME ON NOW.....I hate when people act like they are tryin to uplift their "people" or "community" so therefore they don't do or listen to anything to contradict that "style".....WHO'S STUPID? NOT ME....lol.....NOBODY'S THAT PERFECT.....so you do you and Imma do me.....ITS ALL LOVE....STOP HATIN!!!!!

Rap is rap..hip hop is hip hop..it's just another style of music..It's not just hip hop that's taking a hit from industry and downloader's...all music in this day and age is being downloaded..look at what happen to metallica. Everyone wants to get paid but there are to many hackers and hustlers in this world to make it honest anymore..its getting harder and harder to be what we once were. this world is curpting our kids and so our kids become worse than we were..its all downward from here. I love music for what it does for me..it hits me hard in the soul and moves me, I trust only God and live for him and my kids..to keep sane i listen to my music. all kinds all types all good no matter.
